Here are all missing cats reported to us.
If your cat is missing ensure your post has a photo with all details, including location, if chipped / neutered, and date cat went missing. If your cat is not chipped notify the council, local shelters and vets. Make sure you leaflet your area asking people to check garages, gardens and sheds. Canvass a three-block radius around your neighbourhood from your home. It is important to knock on doors and talk to your neighbours so they are aware that your cat is missing. Get started very quickly, you have more chances of finding your lost cat if you start right away than if you set things in motion a week later.
Talk to your postman, you never know with the rounds he does! If your cat went missing from home and uses a cat litter tray, leave it outside as the scent may bring your lost cat back home. Contact your microchip company. Regularly call your cat from your front/back of your home, rather than calling when walking around, you will most likely have moved away if your cat reaches where you were initially calling from.
